Rock and Key

Heather  Ball, President of Rock and Key, is a successful business professional with a passion for helping  others reach their ultimate potential. She led AGC Connect, a technology  company that served the commercial construction industry, from startup  to merger as the Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer. In that role  she reported to a board made up of the Presidents and CEOs of Texas's  most prestigious commercial construction companies and worked with staff  at Associated General Contractors of America regarding the future of  electronic plan rooms in the construction industry.  Heather has also  served as CEO of a Korean based non-profit made up of members and  volunteers from 6 different continents.  

Heather  completed her MBA from the University of Texas at Austin after  graduating with honors from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma.   She is certified in The MindScan Comprehensive Cognitive Awareness Assessment and is a certified mediator. 

As  a former executive of an Austin startup, she understands first-hand the  challenges that corporate leaders and management teams face in the  ever-changing business environment. Heather applies her MBA, and her  business experience to lead Strategic Planning Workshops. In addition to her leadership skills, she  brings years of mentoring experience communicating the benefits of a  balanced life by considering every aspect of well-being including mind, spirit, emotion and health. 

Heather  lives in Austin, Texas with her family. She has many connections around the world through a network developed while living abroad for six years in an international ex-pat community in  South Korea.  She has served on the board of directors of Okpo  International Church.  In her free time she enjoys volunteering, travel,  kayaking, hiking, camping and Christian missions work.

Michael Francis is a Human Resources Executive with a unique background combining strong business acumen, HR Administration, strategic planning, Finance, project management and leadership skills. He is a collaborative HR leader with a history of partnering closely with Corporate Executives, Finance, Operations, Leadership Teams and HR COEs to build and leverage critical business relationships across small and large organizations. 

As Corporate Controller, Michael led an FP&A team that strategically managed a $500M annual operating expense budget. As a senior HR Leader, he served as HR Chief of Staff at two different Fortune 500 companies reporting directly to the HR SVP & CHRO; led several corporate career development and talent management initiatives; led a diverse HRBP team, acted as global HR Administrator and supported two GMs responsible for major business segments generating $16.4B in revenue with a client base of 36K full-time staff. 

Michael has led and been a key contributing member on various highly confidential and transformative corporate projects and initiatives at four Fortune 500 companies in four different business industries. Recently as an Executive Advisor, he consulted in a CHRO capacity for a top rated US Ecommerce company building out the entire HR operating platform.

Michael is a proud Austinite, who is passionate about whatever he is engaged in whether it is outdoor grilling, fishing, family, or helping lead businesses and/or executives through transformational change.
